Nominate a Book for the #FSLGRA 2022 Today!

Preparation for the FSL Global Read Aloud is now underway. Our first step is an open call for nominations from our FSL Educator community. What books do YOU think we should read this fall?

The form to nominate books is now open for your best suggestions. The form will remain open for your suggestions until April 30th. Be sure to revisit which books we've already used in the past (in the Resources tab) as we won't plan to repeat a book, although teachers are always welcome to go back and use the free resources created, curated, and contributed by our past participants.

We consider both picture books and novels. Everyone is welcome to submit your best finds for our shortlist even if it is for a level of the FSLGRA that you may not do with your class. It helps us to hear fabulous suggestions from a variety of French Teachers and French-supportive educational workers, so we can offer the absolute best books for our learner community!

The voting shortlists (selected from the books that are nominated) will be shared in May, so be sure to check back then to have your say on which option would be the "best of the best." The book selections for next fall will be finalized by the end of May. Hopefully, this will allow for school purchasing of at least one copy (i.e. your school library or shared book room) before school is out for the summer. Or the winning books can be ordered as soon as you're back to work for those on a different school schedule than we are.

Merci!
